ever since I can remember I have loved the art of photography..

our story
I live in a little country town down the bottom of Western Australia surrounded by beautiful coast lines and the Stirling Ranges. I grew up around Australia, was born in Bunbury WA, lived in Tasmania from the age of 1-5yrs and then spent most of the years I remember in Albany WA. I am now a mumma of two beautiful children and a Fifo wifey.
I didnt start my business to just take pretty photos - I started it because I know how quickly life changes. One minute you’re meeting the man of your dreams, the next you’re finding out you’re pregnant, the next you’re wipping toddlers tears and wondering where the time went. Not to mention when you are walking down the aisle at your wedding.
I’ve always been the kind of person who feels deeply. I care about people whole heartedly, their stories and the little moments that often get missed - and photography became my way to hold onto them, for myself and for others.
My way of giving.
My mission is to create space for real connection. I want people to feel completely comfortable with me - to laugh, to cry, to let the kids run wild, and not worry for a second if things get messy. That’s the magic. That’s what I’m here for.
This work isn’t just my job. It’s my heart.
it all started when..
Ever since I can remember I have loved the art of photography. The way you can pause time when taking a photograph. It shows your personality without voice, just from your eye.
I did photography in school but only started to explore my hobby more when my partner brought me a Nikon D3300 for my birthday years ago. Since then I have asked friends if I could capture them, which then led to people asking to hire me as a photographer.
I attended a workshop by the famous Flossy Photo back in 2018 and from there I knew that this was a dream I needed to make into reality. Flossy is now a close friend and since 2018 I have also attended the Common Folk Photography/Videography Camp in Oct 2019. Meeting like minded people was next level, talking about why we all do it and how we do it was an amazing experience.
As I got older I really realised how little photos I had of me, as a baby, as a kid, with my family. This was a huge part of my why, why I started to capture for others.
Everyone deserves digital memories to look back on in years to come, to show their children and their childrens children.
